Welcome, Ramona Riedel! Since 1.10.2024 Ramona Riedel strengthens the working group Isodrones! In the project H4Res (“Hydraulic redistribution for resilience”) Ramona quantitatively investigates the importance of hydraulic redistribution in European forests. She will evaluate and model data collected in the field on hydraulic redistribution by plant roots. Among other things, water isotope data from trees and plants will be used to take into account the water uptake depths of the plants. The connection between Isodrones and the Theoretical Ecohydrology working group will be further strengthened with the appointment of Ramona! We are very happy about this cooperation.
