Not only therefore excursions are a relevant element in the education to become an environmental scientist. We explore with our students various destinations from sites in Germany, such as the German Wadden see or the Harz mountains, to Sweden and Namibia. But, we also explore our immediate vicinity in the city of Braunschweig, e.g. in species identification courses.
