Doctoral graduation ceremony 2026

The graduation ceremony will take place on April 24th, 2026

Dear PhD's!

We are very pleased to invite you to the next graduation ceremony!

Join us on Friday, 24.04.2026 at 18:00 in the auditorium (AULA) of the Haus der Wissenschaft.

All graduates who have completed their doctorate (regardless of the publication requirement) in the subjects of biology, biotechnology, chemistry, food chemistry, pharmacy or psychology by 31.03.2026 are invited to the Faculty of Life Sciences doctoral ceremony.

Come along with family and friends to celebrate with us and toast your achievement!

How to get there

By bus

You can reach the Haus der Wissenschaft by bus line 419 (direct route from the main railway station) or 429 (if you are coming from the opposite direction). The bus stop in both cases is ‘Pockelsstraße’. The stop is in the immediate vicinity of the building. The nearest tram stops are ‘Mühlenpfordtstraße’ (lines M1, M2), approx. 5 minutes‘ walk from the house, and “Botanischer Garten” (line M3), approx. 8 minutes’ walk.

By car

Coming from Hanover / Berlin, take the A 391 towards Salzgitter/Kassel/Braunschweig at the Braunschweig Nord motorway junction (exit 55). At the Ölper motorway junction, turn right onto the A 392 towards Hamburger Straße/Zentrum. After approx. 2.2 km, turn right into Hamburger Straße and follow it for approx. 700 m until the junction where you turn left. You are now on the Rebenring (B1). After approx. 500m turn right into Pockelsstraße.
