The four boards of IT governance deal with different areas of information technology and digitalisation at TU Braunschweig. They are strongly connected with each other and work together very closely. Particular attention is paid to IT security, for which the Chief Information Security Officer has the main responsibility. The department in charge is headed by the Senior Vice President for Digitalisation and Sustainability.
The IT Security Board acts as a security team in accordance with the existing IT Security Regulations. It develops guidelines and regulations for the proper establishment of appropriate protective measures with regard to IT infrastructure, IT processes and data worthy of protection at TU Braunschweig.
The IT User Board is responsible for defining requirements and needs for IT-related infrastructure, processes and services of the central and decentralised organisational units of TU Braunschweig.
The core task of the IT Multi-Project Management Board is the cross-project management of requirements and change regarding IT projects at TU Braunschweig. This also includes the preparation of recommendations for action on resource management and project prioritisation for the CIO Board and the Executive Board.
The IT-MMB is your point of contact if you want to start an IT project.
