You will deal with fundamental pedagogical questions, theories of upbringing and socialisation and theories of education. You will also focus on pedagogical practice.
With regard to counselling work, media-based learning or adult and further education, you will also gain theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience in the respective methods, situations and institutions.
Your studies are practical, there are seminars with a workshop character and a high proportion of hands-on training. Many teaching and learning methods are not only taught, but learned. You will try out many different methods yourself.
In addition to group- or project-based learning, for example in the field of communication design or in the conception of e-learning, the programme includes media-based learning or the testing of facilitation techniques. In this way, you acquire a repertoire of methods in terms of didactics and communication from which you can draw for your later professional life.
