Description

Subproject C3

The project focuses on the modeling, the analysis and the evaluation of the aeroelastic behavior of wings as well as on the innovative structural design adapted to the novel configurations, which consist of a Coanda flap system and a wing-rear-side mounted UHBR engine. Considering the fluid-structure interactions, the current highly resolved CFD-CSM models will be extended for the computer aided topology and detailed design of the new configurations. Moreover, the developed reduced order methods will be extended to include sensitivity analyses of the global flutter behavior incorporating the essential engine dynamics and a parameterization of the structural properties.
