The project develops new lightweight designs for wing structures with high lift devices based on modern design methods, in order to satisfy the requirements related to the lift increase due to the Coanda-effect. The aeroelasticity of the wing including the Coanda-effect will be investigated for details by means of high order simulation strategies. A reduced order model will be developed for systematic studies. The reduced model will be integrated in the model of flight mechanics, in order to investigate the interaction of aeroelasticity and flight mechanics.
