Aerodynamic and acoustic properties of a high lift configuration which combines an over-the-wing propeller with a Coanda flap are investigated. In these numerical investigations, unsteady Reynolds- averaged Navier-Stokes simulations as well as Ffowcs-Williams-Hawkings computations are conducted. Aerodynamic sensitivities and tonal noise emissions are determined with respect to the propeller position. The propeller is partly embedded in a wing channel, in order to improve the acoustic shielding.
