Our goal is to understand health. To do this, we primarily use systems biology methods. With them, biological systems can be completely recorded and analysed.
With our knowledge of health, we investigate the molecular causes of diseases, for example infections or neurodegenerative diseases. We are interested in the causes of diseases because they are the basis for developing new therapies. We work on these together with our partners in Braunschweig and worldwide.
