What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

After long days of studying, it was always a highlight to go to the canteen with my fellow students and eat together. These moments bonded us together and created some of my best memories.

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

The compact city offers everything you need, with short distances between university and leisure activities.

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

  • Intellect,
  • Behavior,
  • Experimental design.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

Psychology plays an important role in my daily work in the field of user experience. It provides a solid basis for better understanding the behavior and needs of users and for making well-founded decisions in user research.

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

Unfortunately, I don't.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Explore different career options early and often and get to know lots of people. Networking can open up new perspectives for you.
  2. Internships during your studies are often more important than a perfect grade.
  3. Your career path can often be influenced by family expectations - be aware of this and think about what you really want to achieve.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

Remain open to global developments and focus on motivated students who want to shape the future together.
