In the WirtschaftsWoche (WiWo) ranking on the research performance of German-speaking business economists, Professor Thomas S. Spengler ranks among the top 5% in the ranking of "long-term stars of business administration". To determine the ranking, the number of research articles in professional journals and the respective reputation of the journal were taken into account. In total, more than 2,500 professors were considered.
