Dr. Christian Thies awarded with BME Science Prize

How do managerial decisions affect the environment, the economy and the society? To promote sustainable thinking in the industry, holistic assessment tools are needed. This way, companies can manage sustainability effectively. The availability of comprehensive tools is particularly important for the assessment of products with global supply chains. In his dissertation, Dr. Christian Thies, Research Group Leader at the Institute of Automotive Management and Industrial Production, has developed concepts and methods for sustainability assessment and investigated specific applications within the context of electric mobility. The dissertation was recently awarded with the the BME Science Prize of the Association Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics
