For decades, the architecture faculty of the TU Braunschweig has produced outstanding graduates who have had a formative influence on architectural production and discussion both nationally and internationally. The aim of the cloud club, founded in February 2005, is to bring together the worldwide network of former architecture students of the TU Braunschweig and to activate contacts between current and former members of the architecture faculty.
The primary purpose of the club is the idealistic and financial promotion of teaching, research and artistic activities of the Department of Architecture. The cloud club supports and organises exhibitions, cultural festivals and publications. In addition, outstanding achievements within teaching and among members are to be specifically promoted through prizes and scholarships.
The cloud club wants to be more than just an alumni association. In principle, it is open for membership to all persons interested in architecture as well as friends and sponsors of the Technical University Carolo Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig.
As a member of the cloud club, you will regularly receive personal invitations to the events of the Architecture Club of the TU Braunschweig and the Department of Architecture. You become part of a global network of architects. With a newsletter we inform you about the activities, successes, artistic and personnel developments of the club and the university.

The alumni association "Alumni-Bau Carolo-Wilhelmina" was founded at the inaugural meeting on 25 November 2003. The purpose of the association is to promote teaching and research ideally and financially by establishing a lasting connection and mutual support between the Department of Civil Engineering at the TU Braunschweig, its students and its graduates (alumni*). All active and former students and staff of the Department of Civil Engineering, members of the department as well as friends and supporters can join.

*Alumnus, i, m, comes from Latin and means "the pupil". An alumnus is also the pupil of an alumnat, a boarding school. Today, alumni are graduates of a university or scholarship holders of a funding organisation.
