Most of the topics in the seminar on scientific computing are related to the solution of ordinary and partial differential equations, uncertainty quantification and fluid-structure interaction. A selection of topics is given below; however, if you have a topic that fits this field, you can contact the seminar organiser and we can see, whether your proposal is possible as a seminar topic. Note further, that most of the topics here are rather advanced and better suited for Master's students. However, if you are a Bacherlor student and want to take a topic proposed here and feel able to, feel free to apply for it.
