The Research Training Group Geo-Ecosystems in Transition on the Tibet Plateau (TransTiP) examines the water resources and species composition in the Tibetan Plateau in the context of global warming. The extent and causes of short and long-term changes in sediment and carbon fluxes as well as water availability are quantified with high temporal and spatial resolution. Doctoral and postdoc projects from various geoscientific disciplines are part of top international research using innovative interdisciplinary approaches and methods.
