Postdoctoral Researcher
In 2020, I joined the HydRiv-Team as PostDoc to strengthen the research aspects related to surface hydrology. My holistic aim is to develop new measures to cope with challenges rised by climate change. In detail, I quantify the impact of future rainfall on runoff reactions in rural and urban areas. This includes flood frequency analysis, urban floods and resulting infection risks, but also irrigation demands and water balance changes in general. Besides the basic research to these topics, my motivation is to show possible solutions to stakeholders to minimize negative impacts of climate change.
