Member of the institute and co-principal investigator of the ROMAP-instrument Uli Auster witnessed Philae's separation, descent and touchdowns in November at first hand. In the meantime analysis of the collected magnetometer data gives further insight into Philae's adventures on the comet. For instance, some significant structures in the time lines suggest that Philae might have grazed surface structures of the comet during the first bounce. You can read more on this topic on ESA's ROSETTA-blog entry from November 28.
