July started as always with our annual institute excursion! This year we went to Marienborn, at the former inner-German border, where we got exciting insights into the historical border controls. The afternoon took us to a great swimming lake, where swimming and volleyball were on the agenda. The day ended with a cozy barbecue with former members of the institute.
