The Welcome Support for International Researchers supports international researchers by providing advice and information regarding their stay and arrival in Braunschweig.
Preparation
We look forward to welcoming you in Braunschweig soon. In order to help you prepare for your stay, we have compiled the most important information for you.
First Steps
During the first few days you will have to deal with a large number of formalities. Here you will find an overview of the most important steps.

Things that are perfectly easy at home may pose a problem in a foreign country. In order to get you off to a good start, we have compiled some useful information for you.

SAFE – Supporting at-risk researchers with fellowships in Europe: Apply now!

The SAFE programme of DAAD, Campus France, PAUSE and unimed is offering 60 scholarships for 36 months each for research stays of threatened researchers (PhDs and PostDocs) at European universities. Only one application can be submitted per university.

If you would like to propose a researcher at risk for application, please send his/her CV and a brief  description (max. 1 page) of the research project by 09 December 2024 to Dr. Astrid Sebastian (a.sebastian(at)tu-braunschweig.de) from Research Services.

If several proposals are received, an internal university selection will be made.
