The Language Centre offers German courses during the non-lecture period.

From 26 August to 20 September 2024, the Language Centre at the International House of TU Braunschweig offers German compact courses from level B1.1 to B2.2, which are primarily open to CSE  and SEPP students, but in which students from other disciplines and staff can also participate.

The German courses at level B1.1 and B1.2 take place online.

The B2.1 course is offered completely face-to-face and takes place daily from 10:30 to 13:45 in room BW 74.-117 of the Language Centre in the International House.

The B2.2 course alternates between online and face-to-face classes. The course is taught online during the first week from 09:00 to 11:30 and face-to-face classes take place in the second to fourth week from 09:00 to 12:15 in room BW 74.-119 at the International House.

All courses end with a final examination. With the acquired certificate, graduates can directly attend the next level at the Language Centre in the winter semester. The compact courses are free of charge for students of TU Braunschweig and HBK! Employees pay 70 euros (incl. exam).

Registration will take place on 20 August 2024 from 15:00 to 25 August 2024 at 23:59 in AURA.

ATTENTION: If this is your first time applying for a German course at the Language Centre or if you have not completed a A2 course at the Language Centre, you will have to take a placement test.
The placement test will also take place on 20 August 2024 from 15:00 - 17:00 at the Language Centre in room BW 74.129.

If you have any questions about the compact courses, please send an e-mail to daf(at)tu-braunschweig.de.
