Cancelling your exam registration
Cancellation of registrations is possible until the penultimate day before the exam date.
You can also cancel your registration through the Online portal.
Please inform the Examination Office if you withdraw from a voluntary repeat examination online so that the original examination result can be displayed again for you.
The online-cancellation is logged by the entered TANs and is therefore traceable. You will not receive a separate confirmation of your cancellation via the online portal.
Other than that, you have to use the cancellation form, which must be signed and handed in in person, sent by fax, as an e-mail attachment (from your TU e-mail address, submit the original later) or by letter to the Examination Office in due time.
In due time meaning:
- In Person at your respective examination office
- By Fax to the Faxnumber: 0531-391 8220
- By (postal) Mail (if the notification of illness is sent by post, the date of the postmark will count as proof that the deadline has been met) It is your responsibility to ensure that a postmark with the date on the letter is legible.
- Cancelling online: Until 23:59 (Midnight) on the penultimate day before the test.
