Course content

The students have an overview of general modelling methods and modelling approaches for technical systems (basics of "Systems Science"). They master the modelling methods bondgraphs and Lagrange modelling and the modelling of linear systems in continuous time domain, frequency domain and time discrete domain. They are able to check the properties of controllability and observability in linear systems and know the approaches of system identification of time-discrete linear systems.
