Neurological Diseases (Bio-ZB 28)

Course Content

Lecture: The lecture Neurological Diseases teaches molecular and cellular processes causing pathological alterations and disease-associated symptoms of the human nervous system. The lecture is subdivided into four major topics encompassing general diseases of the nervous system, neurodegenerative diseases, developmental diseases and psychiatric diseases.
These topics include: Stroke, Brain Tumors, Epilepsy, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease, Polyglutamine-Diseases, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Lissencephalies and Depression among others.
